Expo Shanghai Pavillions

International/Universal 'expos' are for architecture what Eurovision contest is for music: a weird but exotic mixture of styles and ways of thinking, a little pinch of bad taste and much money wasted in something that will not last more than a year.

Here are some proposals for international pavillions: the perforated box still is the winning solution for square minded architects, and square urban planning.

Over all, I would like to highlight the non-winning proposal from Izaskun Chinchilla, one of the most irreverent Spanish young architects, who clearly makes the difference on architecture designing process.
