My partner and I attended David's talk yesterday. We were absolutely touched by his talk. It was insightful, balanced and witty. I am a scientist who has quite a number of artists friends in Singapore, when David mentioned his views about "sometimes the pressure of business on artists could be too much", I felt it very strongly. This was particularly true in Singapore considering the emphasis is always on business, science, technology BUT almost insignificant on art. David's talk and his insights help my friends especially my partner who is a photographer - especially those moments when he felt down due to the pressure of business, whilst he tried to sustain his passion.
By the way, the host for the talk (a lady) - gosh, she is far too uptight. I hated it!
