Fashion designer Hussein Chalayan will exhibit from July 5 to November 21,2001 at Les Arts Décoratifs, Paris. The book Hussein Chalayan (a monograph of his work) will be published by Rizzoli.
Vivienne Westwood F/W 11
The Vivienne Westwood's collection presented in Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2011 turned into something as a sparkling gold runway. This season the eccentric designer was inspired by Mother-Earth, giving it a glam punk makeover which she dubbed World Wide Woman - after a powerful muse who is a guardian of culture, values and a cause long near and dear to this designer's heart - described style.com. There are some runway show pictures by Yannis Vlamos and Emanuele D'angelo moving us to this golden cool release styled by Yasmine Eslami.
FW11/12 Paris Josephus Thimister
The Autumn/Winter season themed as "Mystic circle of fallen angels" by Jose Thimister (Timisuta) seems to rejuvenate the traditions of haute couture, notably by using unconventional materials. The eternal freshness and endless hours in the dark is increasingly embodied and will soon reveal the fallen angels as innocent souls to enlighten the shadows and black wings. The fashion designer worked for Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Patu, Cristobal Balenciaga, Charles Jourdan before he established his own maison announced both as couture and pert in 1997.
"MULTIDIMENSIONAL" HOMME A/W 2011-12
The photo shoot Multidimensional was taken by Yannis Bournias for the fashion designer Sotiris Georgiou, who recently presented his latest A/W collection during the 13th Athens Fashion Week. Which follows some of the key principles of what is simply called good architecture, principles such as flexibility, security, geometry, symmetry and rhythm.
